Hello!
Welcome to my little corner of the blog-o-sphere as I like to call it!
I am a recent graduate who ran cross country and track competitively for four years. I am also a Type 1 Diabetic and have hypothyroidism. I have learned a lot over the past four years about how to manage my blood sugar and overall health as a competitive athlete and hope to share these things with others.
In the past, I raced the 5k, 3200 meter and 1600 meters. I plan to focus on the 10k and the half marathon for this next year and to eventually race a full marathon!
I will use this site as a place to post helpful tips, recipes, etc. for training and T1D, while also chronicling my journey to become the best and fastest runner I can be.
